Become A More Radiant You: Fall Wellness Favorites

Hi, girlies! I hope you’re having a satisfying end to your week. It’s been very busy, but I’ve been keeping myself sane and productive by balancing self-care with discipline. Wellness is very important in all areas of life, and I’ve been focusing on physical wellness to promote mental health and be more efficient throughout the day. Here are 5 of my favorite ways to indulge in self-care throughout the month, especially now that it’s officially fall!

  1. Sauna

My favorite way to stay warm and cozy is by going to my gym’s sauna. Visiting the sauna is a great way to work up a sweat, relieve stress, and detox. I love going at least once a week to relax quietly and unplug from my phone, and I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It’s super important that if you go to the sauna, you drink lots of water afterward to rehydrate your body.

  2. Chemical Peels

As someone who suffers from hormonal acne, my favorite treatment for the past year has been a monthly chemical peel. I see an esthetician for extractions and a deep peel every 3 weeks, and I absolutely love it. Chemical peels have improved the texture over time, and every time I get one, it feels like a hard reset on my skin every time.

  3. Daily ginger shots

This is a very new habit for me, but one I’ve grown fond of! Because it’s cold and flu season, I have been working on boosting my immune system with vitamin C. Ginger shots have been an easy, stress-free way to accomplish that, and I see this as a habit I will continue to maintain for quite some time.

  4. Daily exercise at the gym

I’m getting back into working out again after a long time of not doing so. My workout routine involves mostly pilates and walking on the treadmill, or a long walk outside.

  5. Regular exposure to the outdoors

I try to get outside each day to feel the sun and breeze against my face and look at the trees. You don’t have to be super outdoorsy, but getting fresh air is so good for you, and I make it a habit to go outside as frequently as possible as much as the weather allows.
