My Current Fall Wardrobe Essentials
Transitioning to fall clothing without sacrificing the vibe you want to emulate in a look can be challenging, but I’m here to help. I believe in cohesive styling that allows you to put an outfit together quickly. It girls are busy, but that doesn’t mean your style and appearance have to suffer. Here are some of the essentials in my fall wardrobe that keep me looking cute and cozy in the brisk fall air.
A long-sleeved top
I love a long-sleeved top for when I want to dress up an outfit. My favorite one is from Wild Fable, and it’s a warm brown with faux fur on the collar. It drapes beautifully, and I love styling it with jeans or a midi shirt and some boots for a super functional and elegant look.
A velvet skirt
My favorite velvet skirt was given to me by my mother, and I got it tailored to fit perfectly. It’s black, and I style it with so many different long-sleeve tops and turtlenecks. This is the perfect way to add more texture to your outfit while maintaining the versatility of your wardrobe.
Black knee-high boots
Knee-high boots are my shoe of choice once it gets cold outside. They are so cute but also practical. For days when I’m doing a lot of walking, I stick with a boot that has a block heel for more stability. You can’t go wrong with black leather and a classic silhouette, and I love styling mine with a sweater, a skirt, and some tights.
Straight-leg high-waisted jeans
My favorite jeans are the Levi’s Ribcage Straight Ankle jeans in size 25. They have a perfectly washed-out look, and they’ve lasted a long time without tearing. I love styling them with a cute top and Ugg boots!
A classic white sweater
My favorite sweater is from Sfera, and it’s so warm and cozy. White is one of my favorite colors to wear, and this sweater goes so well with textures like velvet or satin. Wear it with a midi skirt, or dress it down with jeans or ribbed lounge pants.
A plaid miniskirt
I love miniskirts in the fall for a cute preppy vibe. Emulating Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl, you can go for a sweater or camisole layered on top of a long-sleeved turtle neck. My favorite skirt from Los Angeles Aparrel is linked here.
