A New Era For It Girl Archive: A Letter From your Editors
Hi everyone! Long time, no see! I seem to have dropped off the face of the Earth within the last few months, and I wanted to come back and of course, share where I’ve been, but also some exciting news about the future of It Girl Archive.
When I started It Girl Archive a few months ago, I wanted to use it as a place to document my thoughts, my interests, and my passions especially those that are fashion-related. As someone who studies the sciences, I don’t often have an outlet for my creative endeavors, and I wanted to make that safe space for myself because being multifaceted is a beautiful thing. As young women, we shouldn’t put ourselves in small boxes.
Over the past 6 months, I’ve had my own trials I’ve been dealing with. I moved to Barcelona, I turned 20, and I made a decision that would change me forever— I decided to make the change of having IGA as my outlet, and focus on making it a community.
I present to you… It Girl Archive: The Magazine.
It’s a shock for me too, and it’s been about a month since I found a partner to embark on this journey with, and I couldn’t be happier. Her name is Leonor, and you will be seeing a lot more of her from now on. As co-founders, we are committed to bringing you the best in fashion commentary, an inside look into the industry, and as always, lifestyle tips to help you live your best life. Our motto is “sophisticated living, haute inspiration.” As we move into this new era, we’re excited to give you incredible journalism, community events, and a space to celebrate girlhood and womanhood. We hope you’re excited to follow us on the journey too, and we’ll be posting more details on the launch of our apparel collection and our first issue “Glamour on the Coast” in the coming weeks.
Much love,
Whitney and Leonor
